Popular online gamer PewDiePie has shared snaps from a trip to Cornwall with his followers.
Swedish-born Felix Kjellberg, 30, and his Italian wife, Marzia Kjellberg, 27, who live in Brighton with their two pugs, shared pictures on Instagram yesterday documenting their time at The Eden Project, near St Austell.
PewDiePie is the world’s most popular singular YouTube star with Indian music record label channel T-Series taking the top subscriber spot from him in March 2019.
He is also the most popular video gamer in the world, boasting over 107 million subscribers on the video sharing platform.
His wife Marzia, who he married in August last year, is a former YouTuber and businesswoman who sells ceramics, illustrations, decor and jewellery through her online store, Mai Accents.
PewDiePie took to his Instagram stories last night (October 8) to share details of the visit, although he didn’t have much to say.
He shared a few stunning pictures taken from his new camera and said: “We went to Eden Project in Cornwall. Really cool place, good times.”
Marzia too shared a similar serious of snaps of her at the world-famous attraction thanking the friends who joined them for “capturing memories” with her.
Marzia was first introduced to PewDiePie – real name Felix Kjellberg – in 2011 after her best friend began sharing his videos with her, telling her she must watch “this idiot playing video games”.
After being throughly enthralled by his witty sense of humour, Marzia emailed him telling him she thought he was funny, the Mirror reports.
They struck up an online friendship that soon morphed into a romantic long-distance one, with Marcia living in Italy and PewDiePie in Sweden.
PewDiePie began saving money in order to fly to Italy to spend time with his new lady, making multiple trips over just 12 weeks.
The pair fell madly in love, and within months, the Italian student abandoned her studies to move to Sweden to be with him.
